We have three weekly worship services: Saturdays at 5 pm and Sundays at 8:30 & 11 am:
The services on Saturday at 5 pm and on Sunday at 8:30 am follow the Lutheran liturgy, with traditional hymns led by the organ. You’ll be with about 50 others at 5 pm on Saturday and around 80 at 8:30 am on Sunday.
The style of worship on Sunday at 11:00 am alternates between a traditional and a blended service. The blended ‘New Praise’ service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays combines contemporary Christian music with a liturgical format. We follow the traditional liturgy and hymns on the other Sundays of the month. Attendance at this service is around 80.
You can come to Worship more-or-less as you are…you will see everything from shorts to suits. You can sit in front or hide in the back; we won’t shine a spotlight on you, but we hope you will find a comfortable welcome.
We take seriously Jesus’ words at the Last Supper, and celebrate Holy Communion at all regular worship services and many special services. We invite everyone to come forward during this portion of the service, to receive the Sacrament if you are in accord with our understanding of the Lord’s Supper, or to receive a spoken blessing if you are unsure for any reason.
We are handicap-accessible and offer assistive listening devices.
We offer Bible and topical classes for children, youth, and adults between the two Sunday services. Or come to one of our smaller periodic gatherings like our Men’s Breakfast or one of our two Women’s Bible Studies, daytime & evening.
If you like to jump in here and there, we have once-a-year events like our Victorian Streetwalk music outreach in December and our Vacation Bible School in the summer. You can also watch our list of Special Events on the Home page for a picnic, game night, or other one-time event.
If you have young kids then check out our Christian Childhood Center, which serves over 100 kids each week with Preschool and Extended Day Care for ages 18 months through pre-kindergarten.
Our Youth have servant hearts and would love to welcome new friends. Our Children’s Ministries are blessed with kids who have a child’s love for Jesus.
Our Human Care ministry team assists over 200 families by providing needed words of encouragement, prayer, and Christian love, along with some of life’s daily necessities. Our Stephen Ministers can help you through difficult spiritual and emotional times. Do you need help? Do you know someone who needs help? Are you called to give help?
We periodically offer a Introduction to St Paul's class as an introduction to Christianity, Lutherans, and St Paul’s.
Pastor Adam or any one of us would welcome the opportunity to meet you, show you around St Paul’s, and help you find your place.
