When John, the last of the Apostles, died around 100 AD, the leadership of the Christian Church passed on to a new generation. These so-called "church fathers" had the responsibility to carry the message of Jesus Christ throughout the Roman world. Without Jesus or his apostles how did they address the challenges that confronted the early church? Join us as we explore the writings of Clement, Ignatius, Polycarp, Irenaeus and others during the 2nd century of the Christian era, and find out how little has really changed.
