Mission to Serve

St. Paul's Mission to Serve team is Gathered by God to Share the Love of Jesus with a goal of blessing ministries by physically serving alongside them - when possible - and by making financial contributions to chosen organizations. 100% of the Mission to Serve contributions are forwarded to the recipient organization.

Current Mission

To Love A Child

To Love A Child is a local non-profit founded by Cindy Schmehl in response to a calling after she and her husband visited Zimbabwe.  Based in Clifton Park, the 20-year-old nonprofit founded and run by Schmehl has built a school, hosted medical clinics, drilled wells, installed purified water and irrigation systems and planted what they call forests and fields of produce to feed the children and their families.

TLC has completed many projects to help children and families in Zimbabwe, Haiti and also locally. Her organization sponsors a program, Thyme to Thrive, which teaches culinary skills to young people from low-income families, for a plant-based diet. At the end of the session, students celebrate by cooking a meal for their families.
