St. Paul's Mission to Serve team is Gathered by God to Share the Love of Jesus with a goal of blessing ministries by physically serving alongside them - when possible - and by making financial contributions to chosen organizations. 100% of the Mission to Serve contributions are forwarded to the recipient organization.
Current Mission
Food For the Poor
The goal of Shelters of Saratoga is to transform the lives of our neighbors facing homelessness with supportive services, safe shelter and a path to independence. These objectives are totally in line with our journey as Christians, giving aid and comfort to those in need. Shelters has been selected for our highlighted Mission to Serve in the months March/ April 2022 because of the shelter needs during the winter in our local community. Shelters operations the Code Blue initiative in the Saratoga community.
Shelters of Saratoga Outreach Program serves the needs of 200 people on average each year, providing unsheltered people temporary lodging, food supplies and case management. Individualized, client centered care prioritizes access to health services, assistance accessing benefits and housing navigation.
The Navigation Center at Shelters offers a safe daytime space where guests engage with staff and service providers. This model of care increases engagement in services and focuses on reduced substance use, long-term care, and service accessibility.
