St. Paul's Music Ministry

At St. Paul's music is an important part of our worship life. We sing a wide variety of hymns and songs that praise God and teach us valuable lessons about our faith. No matter what or how we sing, it's always to the glory of God with Christ at the center.

Do you enjoy singing or playing a musical instrument? Consider joining one or more of our music groups! When we gather together to make music to the Lord, it's always a great time or worship and fellowship. Learn more about our music ministry opportunities below.

Worship Music Team

Our Worship Music Team leads the congregation in song during our blended worship services on Sunday mornings and during certain special services throughout the year. We have singers and folks who play a variety of musical instruments. We sing and play both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. We enjoy giving glory and praise to God through our music!

We are always looking for musicians of all kinds to join our group. Click the link below or contact the church office if you are interested in using your musical talents to worship the Lord in this way.

Rehearsals are typically Tuesdays at 7 PM. Musicians arrive for Sunday worship around 9 AM for warmup and sound check before the service.

Choir

In the fall, winter, and spring our choir meets every Wednesday for rehearsal from 6:30-8 PM and sings during worship on Sunday mornings (gathering at 9 AM for warmup/sound check), select Saturday evening services, and for certain special services throughout the year. We sing 3-4 part choral music that matches the weekly worship theme.

If you cannot read music it's not a problem...we will help you with that! All are welcome to come and give it a try. All voices are needed and welcomed. Even if you travel and are not always available on weekends, we would still love to have you join us.

Interested in joining the choir? Contact the church office.

Special Music Events

Throughout the year we also have a number of other opportunities to share the love of Jesus in song, both at St. Paul's and out in the community. We sing Christmas carols at the Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk and to our homebound members, make jazzy music to the Lord during our Mardi Gras service, and sing/play at other community events throughout the year. Watch our website and the Weekly Connect email newsletter for upcoming opportunities to praise God in song!
