Victorian Streetwalk

Join us in front of Saratoga Arms on Thursday, December 5th, 6–7:30 pm.

For more than ten years running St Paul’s has sent  a choir of costumed carolers, a cadre of cocoa conferrers, and a passel of prayer partners to the steps of City Hall to lift the spirits of revelers and glorify God at the Downtown Business Association’s Annual Victorian Streetwalk.

An invitation to participate

If you like to sing, we want you!  Our carols are offered without accompaniment, and while singing experience would be helpful, it is not necessary that you are able to sing 'in parts' to take part. If you don’t sing, we still want and need you! Greeters will offer a warm and caring smile, a hearty Christmas greeting. Cocoa Chefs are needed to mix and serve up the warm elixir, and Cocoa Servers are needed to offer up cups of the scrumptious brew. Prayer Partners are needed to offer spiritual support to those who come to listen. We also need Logistical Support to help transport people and equipment to Broadway for the event.

Important dates before Streetwalk

  • Late October or early November - Music Rehearsals after church
  • Sunday before Streetwalk - Dress Rehearsal at the Wesley Senior Community
  • Thursday of Streetwalk - Gather for a quick dinner at church, warm up, head to downtown, and sing!

More opportunities after the Streetwalk

  • Singing for the Christian Women's Club Luncheon at Longfellow's Restaurant
  • Christmas Caroling to St. Paul's Homebound Members
  • Caroling to Worshippers entering St. Paul's for Christmas Eve Worship
